Legal Orocovis Petroleum Corp.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Orocovis Petroleum Corp. (“Orocovis Petroleum”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website only. It does not cover data we hold about you under a fuel supply contract, which is governed by that agreement.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is:
Orocovis Petroleum Corp.
P.O. Box 79895, Isla Verde Station
Carolina, Puerto Rico 00984-9895, United States
Email: PRIVACY EMAIL
Telephone: PHONE
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 of the GDPR. Privacy questions should be sent to the address above.
2. What we collect
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, company, email address, fuel type, and anything you type into the message field | The service request form on this site | To answer your enquiry and quote for fuel service |
| Server log data: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps | Automatically, from our hosting provider | To serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults |
| Your cookie and analytics choice | Stored in your own browser when you answer the consent banner | So we do not ask again on every visit, and so we honour your answer |
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, special category data as defined in Article 9 of the GDPR. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
3. The form does not send data to us directly
The service request form on this site does not transmit your details to a server. Submitting it opens your own email application with the message pre-filled, and nothing is sent until you send it yourself. Until that point, what you typed stays on your device. Once you send it, your message reaches us as ordinary email and is held in our mail system.
4. Legal bases for processing
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for any analytics or non-essential cookies. You give it through the banner and can withdraw it at any time.
- Steps prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) when you contact us asking for fuel service or a quotation.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for keeping the site available and secure, and for retaining correspondence about our services. Our interest is in operating and defending our business; we have weighed this against your rights and consider the impact minimal.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) where aviation, tax, or transport law requires us to retain records.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one item in your browser's local storage, recording the answer you gave to the consent banner, so that we do not ask again and so that we honour your choice. That item is not sent to us and is not a cookie.
Because nothing on this site is loaded from a third party, refusing the banner leaves no residual data sharing of any kind.
If we later add analytics, it will load only after you have accepted, and this policy will be updated before it does.
You can change or withdraw your answer at any time using the cookie settings link, which is also in the footer of every page.
6. Third parties and international transfers
This site loads no third-party resources. Typefaces, images, video, and scripts are all served from this site's own origin, so simply viewing a page does not disclose your IP address to any other company. There are no embedded fonts, maps, players, analytics, advertising, or social widgets.
Our hosting provider, HOSTING PROVIDER, necessarily processes your IP address in order to deliver the pages to you, and acts as our processor under a data processing agreement.
Where personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred outside those areas, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become customers: up to 24 MONTHS from last contact.
- Customer correspondence: for the life of the relationship and then as required by tax, aviation, and transport record-keeping rules.
- Server logs: RETENTION PERIOD.
- Your consent choice: until you clear your browser storage or change it.
8. Your rights
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to request access to your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we process it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise any of these, write to PRIVACY EMAIL. We will respond within one month.
You may also complain to your national supervisory authority. A list is published by the European Data Protection Board.
Residents of certain US states, including California, have comparable rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined. Requests go to the same address.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including transport encryption for this site and restricted access to our mail systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be signalled on this page.
Before publishing: every highlighted field above still needs a real value, and this document should be reviewed by a lawyer qualified in Puerto Rico and, if you intend to serve EU visitors, in EU data protection law. It is a solid starting draft written around how this specific site actually behaves, not a substitute for that review.
